I miss mah bean

I am sick and tired of people blowing off the fact that I'm lonely. I was lonely all summer being away from my friends and not knowing a single soul where I live. I'm lonely here at Gonzaga. Sure I have 3 friends here on campus, but I don't know them that well yet. I still really miss my friends back home. People tell to remember I still have friends back in Colorado, but that doesn't help me because I then feel more lonely because they are over a thousand miles away. At times I wish I hadn't moved, but then I would really miss my family. At times I wish I had picked a school that I knew some people that were going to. It is so hard coming to a new school and not knowing anybody. And then on top of that coming in as a transfer student, when people have already formed their "cliques." Now don't think that I am not thankful for my friends I have here on campus. They mean so much to me. I have grown to really trust them, and I know that I can always tell them anything. Of course two of them are R.A.s so that is part of their job to be there for people to talk to them. I just wish that a couple of my friends back home lived closer.
Today I did lots of baking. I baked a little over 5 dozen chocolate chip cookies for a bake sale for the science club. I baked some halloween cookies and cinnamon cookies for myself to enjoy. I hope that you guys have a good week.

Lonely

So yesterday I was going to be going to the student center in the evening to play bingo and then play Bridge with a friend. But my entire plans got cancelled because the student center was closing early because its a holiday weekend. Then, all of my friends that I was talking to online had to go. Plus, it doesn't help that I only have like 3 friends on campus. So yesterday, I was quite lazy and just made it into a movie day. I watched all 5 Harry Potter DVDs in one day. Tonight, I am planning on going to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for the second time. The first time I went with my dad, but I spent most of the time explaining the movie to him because he has only seen like 3 of the movies and hasn't read the books. The only reason he went is so that I wouldn't have to go by myself. So, tomorrow we don't have school. I love 3 day weekends. Now, I just need to get busy on my homework so I don't save it all for tomorrow. Plus, tomorrow I have to bake chocolate chip cookies for the science club since we are doing bake sales every week.

Back again for my daily blogs

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I was having trouble signing in because over the summer Blogger decided to do some updating which made it difficult for me to figure out how to sign in. I met with my education advisor on Friday and found out that I have at least 3 more years left in school. Now I just have to meed with my academic advisor to get the rest of my classes mapped out so that I know when I will be graduating. Mid-term week just ended. I had four mid-terms all together. Hopefully my mid-term test will raise my grade in Chemistry. Right now, I am working on several projects for school. One is a presentation that will be given on October 28th comparing education in Honduras to the United States. Another is a presentation that will be given at the end of the semester. We have to learn something new and present about it. I am partnered up with two other people, and we are learning how to play Bridge. My final project is for both of my education classes. I have to do 20 hours of service learning, which is basically community service. I then have to present what I did, what I learned, and how I can apply it my teaching. I have to get fingerprinted soon so that next semester I can do field experience. This semester I am taking 6 classes. I am taking New Testament, Pre-Calculus, Inorganic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry Lab, Learning Theories, and Psychology of the Exceptional Child. Monday classes are cancelled for Founder's Day. Well I better get busy on those projects. Hope you all have a good day.
